6 Hacks For Packing & Prepping Your Move

There are some easy steps you can take to make the move go quickly- which directly impacts the cost of your move! Placing ready boxes near an entry door such as the garage, unhooking appliances for quick loading, breaking down your bed frame and removing TVs off the wall can be big time savers which will save you BIG!

We recommended a mattress cover to keep your bed clean throughout the move. These can be found online or Premier Movers is happy to supply them.

We are glad to move the holiday cheer that's packed away upstairs, but these will need to be removed from the attic prior to our arrival for safety reasons.

We recommend to number each bedroom box and furniture with a corresponding bedroom number. Once the team arrives at the new location you can indicate corresponding room numbers for efficient unloading. The same labeling system can be used for the kitchen, office, garage, etc.

We have special boxes for these items. We do recommend to wrap these items with bubble wrap instead of using old newspaper. 

A well packed TV is much easier and safer to move than a bare TV. But if still hung on your wall, Premier will supply TV boxes and help remove wall mount upon request. If you have your TVs  boxed and ready, your moving team will be able to load much quicker!
